Meet the Founder

Rooted & Rare began long before it had a name. More than ten years ago, I started a personal tradition on my birthday. Born on Valentines Day, I spent the day giving roses to friends and complete strangers - not because I expected anything in return, but because I loved seeing the smiles, surprises and joy that a single flower could bring. 

That simple act of kindness became something I looked forward to every year. Along the way, my appreciation for flowers continued to grow. Visits to the Los Angeles Flower District sparked a curiosity to learn more about every bloom, from their symbolism and history to the unique beauty each one brings. 

What began as a yearly tradition eventually blossomed into Rooted & Rare Floral Experiences - a place where flowers are more than beautiful, they're meaningful. Through interactive Flower Bars, the Botanical Encyclopedia, Bloom of the Month, and educational resources, my hope is to help others discover the joy, wonder, and connection that flowers create.
